Kicking concept is first introduced in the 2nd form, Chum Kiu, of Wing Chun System. Detail techniques and applications are fully developed in the Wooden Dummy Form. As a result, most Wing Chun practitioners could only learn & develop kicking techniques at a very late stage. By introducing a Kicking Course early, Wing Chun practitioners have much more time to polish their kicking.
The following video footage is to show the training for the two basic types of Wing Chun kicks: ZING3 GOEK3 (Front Kick), WAANG4 GOEK3 (Side Kick) and its evolved HYUN1 ZING1 GOEK3 (Circling front kick or named as Half Moon Kick). Wing Chun 8 Legs and its applications are developed from these two basic kicks.
